Serpent Untextured by AdamentSnow Serpent Untextured by AdamentSnow
Well then is since i working of this bastard for over 15 hour now. I do say my observation is pretty rusty compare with my concept sketches. Is really off by 20% well then doesn't matter now. At least a good practice on my modelling skill.

Just normal render and rigging. So hope you guy like the progress I did, feel free to comment and speculate.

wow some nice Maya work there, is it rigged or did you extrude along a curve?

A little extrude and lot of part join together, take some time to rigged the whole thing up.

Is ready for animation except without texture

Interesting concept, and I like the modeling technique you chose for this; very unique and industrial style.

Awesome. Reminds me of the Midgar Zolom from Final Fantasy 7. Also, I respect your skills with modeling.

if you turn the shader color on that floor to black and adjust the bottom value of the color to 250 if will make the floor blend into a standard sun and sky enviroment, thus giving a infinite plane look

Thanks for the advice, yeah your right i should have adjust the floor colour to blend with the background.
It look too obvious right as the colour between the floor is too off?

As I havent' done any modeling in yonk's, I can't really criticise, but I do like the body of the dragon, and the spikes are well cool!
I'm now thinking how can I do this in Ciname4D! - haven't touched Maya in almost 10 years!

Keep it up - it looks like a right pig to model!

Yes, I can really see that! - if you see my profile, you'll see I've changed career!
and gone for a more relaxing approach!
